Wow!! Is all that can we say about our Guédelon bed. It is an ultra-luxe combination of our Sant’ Angelo and Windsor beds, with a high headboard and deep tufting, it has a crafted rounded style and its shape is more graceful and curvaceous than Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn once said "Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she'll conquer the world". Well you might not conquer the world but the Guédelon is certainly an impressive bed.
It reminds us of that one friend in high school who had perfectly shaped nails, straight, bouncy hair & an impeccable sense of style. The Guédelon is that friend. Except with a bit more panache and a whole lot of elegant curves. It’ll make an absolutely mind-blowing addition to anyone with an artistic eye. Not that you'll ever need it but this chic bed also has a 5 year warranty. The mattress is supported by a fixed platform base to give solid support to your mattress . The video shows the Guédelon bed and Pierrefonds bench in the velvet silver fabric which is very soft and tactile.

Super happy to leave a review here about our helmii bed and mattress. Customer service was responsive and friendly from start to finish and found the swatch service to choose our fabric and colour really handy. Ordered the Guedelon bed, emperor size (it's huge!) in a gorgeous silver/grey velvet and it arrived on time, assembled in our bedroom with mattress ready to go. So far, sleeping much better, hubby's minor back issues definitely improved, just love the look of the bed in our room - excellent quality, great value for money - looks like it cost far more than we paid for it! I love this bed. My bedroom has high ceilings, so a large headboard is perfect. I chose a nice soft pink, which looks great. The material is really nice quality - in fact, everything I purchased from Simon/Helmii has been superb.
